Rush Hour settings may be entered to cater for heavy traffic during certain periods. The program will adjust the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) accordingly if there is a match in the Rush Hour.
In the following example, a rush hour time period Morning – 5.00 AM to 11.00 AM has been created, and a similar list of stops had been planned without and with the Rush Hour settings for comparison. The ETA of the stops with the Rush Hour Settings enabled were all increased by the set buffer amount of 50% within the “Rush Hour" time period
How To Set Up Rush Hour
Step 1: Navigate to Settings > Rush Hours.
Step 2: Click on Add Rush Hour.
Step 3: Enter the data into the required fields.
Step 4: Click Save.
Plan And Optimize Results With And Without Rush Hours Settings
A list of stops were subsequently planned and optimized without and with the Rush Hour Settings for comparison.
With the Rush Hour settings enabled, the ETA times were increased by the set buffer amount of 50% within the time range of 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
